Second Stage Round 9: Mega BG - Split 95-72

No shocking result in a game in Belgrade where third ranked SerbianMega BG (11-14) smashed 9th ranked Croatian Split (6-19) 95-72 on Monday. Mega BG looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Nikola Djurisic (203-2004) stepped up and scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and Slovenian forward Urban Kroflic (197-2006) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Mega BG players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Bosnian-Croatian forward Dario Dreznjak (204-1998) with 10 points and 7 rebounds and Australian forward Grant Anticevich (205-1999, college: California) scored 6 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mega BG moved-up to second place, which they share with FMP BG. Loser Split keeps the ninth position with 19 games lost.
